HOW TO ORDER SPARE PARTS
Identify the part number from the parts list, write the model, serial, size, ID number and the name of the part.
For older models, when the serial number is missing, indicate the year it was purchased.
Send the order with your name, address, and phone number to an authorized dealer or to the manufacturer. For repair service, securely package it and return it to the manufacturer or to an authorized service dealer.
Be sure to enclose your name, address, phone number date of purchase, an explanation of the malfunction, and for “in warranty” service, proof of purchase. If the package is sent to the manufacturing company in Italy please do not indicate the value of the reel otherwise you may have to pay custom duty. The reel will be promplty repaired and returned to you as soon as possible.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
The Everol reels needs very little maintenance. The special manufacturing technique, the material and precision of the internal gear guarantees an excellent performance even after many years of hard work. During the use, the reel will be in contact with salt water. Salt water and sun rays combined may cause some damage even if it is built with the best anticorrosive mataterial. It is a good rule to clean it after each use.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR REEL
To remove the saline residual, rinse with fresh water holding the drag lever in maximum power position. Do not immerse the reel completely in the water. Spray the exterior of the reel with CRC, leave it for a couple of minutes (this helps to eliminate salt water), pat dry with a soft cloth. lt is not necessary to dry completely, actually it is better to leave a thin coat of CRC as it can help protect it from the salt.
The line can be damaged by CRC, you may cover the line with the same cloth used to dry the reel. When the reel is not in use, the drag lever should be in neutral or in minimum position to prevent that the drag components suffer under useless pressure.
The Everol reels are built with double shielded ball bearings and self lubricating bushings to be virtually free of maintenance.
The only periodical care necessary is for the gearing. To do it yourself detach the windhandle and remove the gearing cap (part n. 12). Grease with a small amount of any marine grease but do not use oil or CRC. lf accidentally when the cap, the crown wheel (part. n. 14) falls of its seat, move one by one the two pawls (part. n. 15) with a screwdriver and reset the crown. Control the position of the crown by turning it.
lf it is not turning well, repeat the operation. Reassemble the cap and the handle. However it is recommendable, when it is possible, to contact an authorized service dealer or to send the reel to the manufacturer.
After a couple of hours that the reel is used for the FIRST time, you must check it for loose screws (part. n. 89), tighten them if necessary. Some times they the may become loosen because of settlement.
Do not store the reel in sealed plastic bags as the water condensation may cause damage.

EVEROL SPECIAL AND TWO SPEED SERIES .
The drag adjusting dial (part. n. 18) with three concentric graduate scales shows the drag power (in Lbs) controlled by a drag lever. The three scales indicate the proportional increasing tension on the line due to the progressive reduction in the diameter of the line in the spool. A full spool will show in the outer scale, a half full spool in the center scale, and an almost empty spool in the inner scale.
The use of the adjustable limit stop (part. n. 20) may set the tension to the desired setting, however it provides unrivaled flexibility to adjust the drag power to higher tension while fighting the fish.
The alarm selector is located on the left side of the reel. Turn it counter-clockwise to set the alarm or clockwise to turn it off. The two speed reels have a button (part. n. 216) which allows to change the speed instantly even undert he most critical conditions because there is no neutral point in the mechanism.
The speed-change mechanism is assembled on elastic supports, which permits the speed to be changed from a slow speed (inward position) to a fast one (outward position) by pressing the button and moving the windhandle.

EVEROL WATERPROOF SERIES
This series has a pre-selector gadget very useful and easy to use. The pre-set on the right side of the reel consists of a drag lever and two buttons: the one on the right hand side allows the drag lever to stop in the strike position (maximum tension), and the left hand side one allows it to stop before getting to free position (minimum tension).
The drag power tension strenght of the line. lt is possible to establish the drag power tension with a dynamometer and the to change it using the preselector (part n. 60). Each time that the preselector is used the drag lever must start from the minimum position as this is the only way to obtain the exact setting.
Once the Pre-Set is established the drag lever can be moved freely along the arc, set betweem the two buttons, with no danger of going beyond the breaking point of the line or reaching the point of free spooling.
When a few extra pounds of drag pressure are needed pushing the button (Maximum) and movin the drag lever to the full position will provide an increase of 40% additional drag pressure. This procedure is very helpful especially when righting a fish close to the boat.
To obtain a free spool, pull the drag lever all the way back, through the minimum position, by pushing the minimum button. The alarm selector is located on the left side of the reel.

EVEROL DOWNRIGGER “NAUTlLUS”
The downrigger “Nautilus” could be used for any kind of deep fishing trolling.
It comes in two versions, one with a fixing plate base, which can be mounted on the gunwale or at the boat stern, and the second one with a special gimbal that can be fixed to any rod holder Both versions can swivel 360° degrees and be stopped at will.
The clutch system can be controlled directly by the handle; by winding it in the opposite direction of the recovery one gets the gradual slowing down of the clutch with the descent of the weight; by winding it in the same direction of the recovery the clutch stops and reaches the minimum point, to maintain the weight down.
If the weight becomes fouled on the bottom ot the ocean, the downrigger automatically releases the line to avoid breakage.
The downrigger Nautilus is equipped with a rod holder and a metercounter with a pre-set button. lt is good practice to rinse and spray the downrigger with CRC after each use
